As of April 14th, 2021, eight GP practices are now part of The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust which will see the Trust directly responsible for the delivery of care.
This offers a unique opportunity to redesign services from initial patient contact through ongoing management and end of life care.
As a single organisation the issues of scope of responsibility, funding, differing objectives and drivers will be removed and clinicians will be in a position to design effective, high quality clinical pathways which will improve appropriate access and positively impact on patient outcomes.
The PCN is working towards making more services available for you such as later and weekend appointments, social prescribing and first contact physiotherapy. We are working in conjunction with health and social care services across Wolverhampton to provide you, your family and carers with improved access.
This means if you’re registered at one of our practices and you cannot get an appointment with your usual GP, you will be offered an alternative PCN appointment at one of the other GP practices. For further information on any of the services available to you, please speak to your practice or click here.
As a Trust we are committed to hearing patients’ views and opinions on the healthcare services we provide.
Our Patient Participation Group runs every month for patients to have their say and voice their concerns. If you are a member of any of the GP practices below, please join in!
The next PPG meeting is on 20th August at 3pm, click the link for details for our PPGs Teams meeting.
Check our website and social media channels for further information about our future virtual meets.
